About the Game: Dislyte is a global released RPG card game (made by UE4)currently under global testing, which receives players’ good feedback beyond expectation.

About the Team: The project team is composed of nearly 130 people. It is a strategic project of Lilith Games, and I am one of its core senior designers.

About My Tasks: 

Game social system-Main director: Responsible for all social systems in the game.

Game PVP system-Main director: Responsible for all competition system, including RTA and asynchronous competition, as well as guild competition system.

Social System——Guild

I have introduced how I designed a complete social framework in League of Legends: Wild Rift. Here I will give an example of how I analyzed the design of the guild system, which is one of the most important parts of the social system.

First Step

Analyze the related competing games and confirm the design positioning of the guild system in Dislyte (the game that I am currently working on).

Based on the analysis of competing products, my positioning of the guild system of this card game is to build a guild ecology with light social interaction as its main body.

The iterative development plan is as shown in the figure below;

Second Step

After determining the positioning of the game-play, I entered the construction stage of the basic framework of the guild. The basic framework of the guild is designed as follows. Among them, the acquisition of guild resources through the activity game-play is the core of the operation of a guild.

Third Step

After completing the basic framework, you can enter the design of the core gameplay of the guild. Below I will show the design of a guild task for a basic core game-play of the guild.。

The core loop framework of the game-play is shown below. On the basis of the framework, I designed the detailed cases and completed the design of the guild tasks.

PVP System – the Arena Tournament

As the RTA game-play in card games, players place more importance on the combination strategies and the appearance order of heroes, which is because of players’ battle strategies.Therefore, in order to make the battles more strategic, I was inspired of the Ban & Pick design in MOBA games to design the appearance orders of heroes. Please see the interactive video below to demonstrate my design, which is a reference for UI artists to further work on.

In the design of the battle, the control of some time variables that I have added makes the design of the battle gameplay more flexible and adjustable.
